Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is Halloween on Sunday! I can't wait, my favorite part of Halloween is going TRICK-O-TREATING. I go trick-o-treating at 5:00 or 5:30. I go with my friends and we have lots of fun getting candy. This time only comes once a year so I always have as much as fun as I can. Whenever I go trick-o-treating, I always start eating my candy whenever I get it. I love candy! The bad part is that it makes your teeth get cavities which is bad. Then you have to go to the dentist where you will get your tooth pulled out. That hurts a lot so watch out for the candy. Even though I am saying this rightnow, on Halloween night I won't be able to control myself and I am 100% sure that I am going to eat a lot of candy. A little candy is okay but not a lot. Anyways, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!

Patriotism Means Everything To Everyone
“Patriotism Means Everything To Everyone”
Does patriotism still matter? Back it up and ask that question to yourself. Well people might think patriotism doesn’t matter but it does. I have enjoyed many freedoms of being an American citizen! Look back and think about all those military soldiers and patriots who have saved this world. Our world would never be like this without the military soldiers and patriots, the people who had made this world freedomly and independent.
When I see the red, white, and blue flag it reminds me of those honored patriots and soldiers. The flag which is represented by the thirteen colonies and fifty states. On the other hand, when I see the liberty bell, it reminds me of liberty and freedom. Every symbol, even a tiny symbol could be a symbol of patriotism.
There is freedom in our earth and everyone should be thankful and proud for the military soldiers and patriots. I know day by day, this world changes and twenty years from now the world might be very different. It is all because of freedom. Without freedom, nobody would get to make their own choices, instead someone would make it for them. Love, liberty, freedom, honor, and the flags of different countries mean everything to everyone.
Every time I think about the great military soldiers and patriots who haved saved the universe, I also feel bad for them in a way too. They saved this universe and in exchange they died one by one. We all have atleast one dream that we wish would come true and one day believe it or not, that dream might not be adream anymore. Your dream will come true! All you have to do is believe in yourself, never give up, and work hard. The next day you know it your dream might come true. This is only because of our military soldiers and patriots who fought for a healthy world.
Patriotism means everything to everyone and it always will all because of our honored military heroes and patriots!

Reflecting On Ralph Fletcher's Writing
In English, we are reading five experts of Marshfield Dreams: When I was a Kid by Ralph Fletcher. One thing that was good in each story was they weren't very long so the reader wouldn't get bored. Also, I liked how Ralph Fletcher had many details and different sentences I have never heard before.
In his vignette "First Pen" he states " What words were hidden-unborn, unwritten- in all that unused ink?"( Fletcher, 2005, pg.44) It was really different than other sentences. For example, other authors would just write," What words were not written from this pen." This sentence is boring but the sentence Ralph Fletcher wrote was odd!
In his vignette " Last Kiss" he states " Even though I was confused, one thing seemed clear- my father and I had drifted away from each other in a small but important way, a way that I couldn't explain, not even to myself."( Fletcher, 2005, pg.84) This sentence is really emotinal. Can you imagine a boy who thinks his father and him are drifting away fom each other? This sentence was suppose to make the reader feel sorry-emotinal for the boy.
As you can see, Ralph Fletcher is a really interesting and unusual author. I would really love to read more of his awsome stories!
